If you have Access 2003 or 2007 then please
read this section:
These versions of Access implement new
security measures, which now require that all
Access projects be digitally signed by the
developer to verify that they are from trusted
source.
Currently, Jamie's Software has not yet been
certified as a trusted source by a formal
certification authority (such as VeriSign or
Thawte). Therefore a security warning(s) will
be displayed every time the application is run,
which you must accept to be able to use the
application.
In Access 2003, if the macro security
settings are set to "Low" then the application
will function normally without any warnings,
however changing the settings to "Low" is
not recommended by Microsoft.
To view your current Macro Security settings
in Access 2003 select Tools - Macro -
Security from the main Access menu.
Access 2007 has the facility to create
trusted locations and running the program from
a trusted location will by pass the security
warning. To view and edit your trusted
locations, start Access 2007 and click on the
Microsoft Office icon at the top left of the
application window to activate the main menu.
Click on Access Options at the bottom
right of the menu. From the options window,
select Trust Center from the list on the
left and click on the Trust Center
Settings button. The Trusted
Locations option on the left allows you to
view and edit these locations.
